Hello everyone and welcome to the March 2019 EMA newsletter! In this month's update, we'll be talking about how life is going in our vibrant electronic music community, the latest playlists, a brand new Liquid Drum & Bass DJ mix for you to lose yourself in and news of a new label that's launching from us - strap yourselves in for a bumper pack ride!
EMA Community
Things really started off with a bang since launching on 1st January 2019 and we couldn't be happier with how it's going! The rhythm is now setting in with the weekly playlists from our members, new fans on our social media pages and, at the time of writing, we now have:

DJ mixes of member's tracks are something we began last month and it looks like it's going to be a regular feature judging by the response we had! This month, Co-Founder Nicky Havey summoned the help from members of EMA to send in their Liquid Drum & Bass tracks. Over the weekend, he concocted the mix (uploaded to our Mixcloud page) and takes us on a liquid trip which should get your toes tapping!

Weekly Playlists
We do like to keep things as fresh as possible by having our weekly playlists featuring tracks no older than 3 months from our members. We curate and rotate the weekly playlists around the different platforms below to make sure both our listeners and members get as much coverage as possible:
The latest EMA playlist is our Vol. 3 YouTube Showcase which you can listen in to below. We definitely feel that the bar is raised with each showcase and I'm sure you'll agree! EMA Meets Spotlight On The Artist!
Spotlight On The Artist (SOTA) is a radio show hosted by EMA members D-Vine and Onemedia on a station called "MSP Waves". They are very passionate about the advent of blockchain technology with music streaming and have encouraged many independent artists to get on board platforms such as Steem and Choon.
They have had Nicky Havey (one of our Co-Founders) on regularly in 2019 and it was decided that they'd have an EMA exclusive show featuring all EMA members to showcase their work and if you're fast, you can tune in at 18:00 UK time today by clicking here. As if things couldn't get any more exciting, our Co-Founders (Bufinjer, DaveyHub & Nicky Havey) have launched Electronic Alliance Records (EAR) which is the community run label of EMA. We will be releasing music from members of EMA community and kicking things off next month will be a first release from the talented Efemby! Watch this space as we'll have more information about the release next month newsletter - exciting time's ahead for anyone associated with EMA
